Have to hand it to Gary for providing UM recruits / commits with an open forum to make what seems like threats --- Win or else.
Obviously this program really, really needs to win games and for a variety of all the right reasons that we're all aware of. And I really can't blame those kids for their sentiments when they can go to BAMA, FSU or Auburn all of which are winning and winning big.
I do like the effort and approach that Golden's staff is taking. Better than sitting on the hands and doing nothing. But I just can't understand why a kid would commit if they're not really and truly interested. And then make the comments they make. A new time and era and I reckon I get that.
Not that I think Gary owes Golden any favors. But this is a program that needs all the help it can get and allowing 17 year olds to "threaten" the program isn't helping much. Just my thoughts.
