On Athlon's ACC Magazine, which also covers the entire nation and has us ranked #6. Shaq is named a 3rd team A - A. And AR82 is on the cover of the magazine. Pretty UM neutral I would say.
Then they rank each position group from 1 to 14, the # of teams in the ACC. This is pretty interesting and is certainly up for debate. Here it is:
QB - 5th (what!!)
RB - 4th
WR/TE - 3rd
OL - 8th
DL - 3rd
LB - 1st
DB - 3rd
Looking at where they rank our defensive groups they certainly expect our D to be very good to great. And I do too.
And if our QB, whoever he may be, is the 5th best in the conference, shoot man, we might be headed to the playoffs.
It's just fun to read stuff like this and not take it too seriously.
