As illustrated in the chart below, right wing terrorism has always been a problem in this country, however it has in recent years gotten much worse and there are now more right wing terror attacks in this country than all other categories combined. The difference between the 90s when most right wing terror cases were related to abortion clinic bombings and similar acts, today's right wing terror attacks are almost always targeted towards religion, race, or ethnicity. So next time someone brings up BLM, Antifa, or any of the other usual obfuscations following a right wing terror event, please point them to the below data that clearly shows that the white supremacy crowd are far and away the biggest perpetrators of domestic terrorism in this country.

By far the greatest threat to our society.

I think people are finally coming to grips with the fact that this is going to be a huge problem until the Republican party reforms itself and the people on Fox, OANN, Breitbart, Newsmax, talk radio etc. start showing some corporate responsibility by not promoting conspiracy theories.

BY FAR! Look at the post on canesport to gauge how fool azz some of them are...

One of the problems is that nearly all these people get their information from sources that don't provide factual info - and generally pander to culture war ethno-nationalism and conspiracy theories.

We are on the same page with extremist violence. All right wing extremists can be put away....Thats not my objection....But do you think in light of how this year has gone that just maybe this chart isnt completely accurate. No left wing "terror" at all? I guess one mans terrorist is this charts freedom fighter. Clearly these people are biased.

Its easy to dismiss scientific data as biased because you may not agree with it, but it is still data that's been gathered by the Center for Strategic Studies, who are a pretty well respected think tank. They even list Antifa in their left wing category.

Since when is a mostly peaceful protest an act of terrorism? It was a small % of outside agitators that caused most this.

Did these peaceful protestors burn stuff down and steal and destroy peoples businesses? Where was this condemnation all year? Where is the outcry after a cop shoots an innocent protester who was also a veteran?

Let's conceptualize what has happened this year and see if your ideologies blind you from the truth.

What would say if right wing extremists took over several city blocks and occupied the territory for months, committing assaults, murders etc?

What would you say if right wing extremists attacked, burned and razed multiple federal and state buildings, including police stations with officers inside?

What would you if right a wing extremists mob attacked the White House and President Obama had to be evacuated to a bunker?

What would say if right wing extremists razed multiple US cities?

They wear blinders when its convenient..

Consider why these people went to the Capitol in the first place - to prevent the Democratic transition of power in a free nation. Many of them coordinated their actions on social media for weeks and brought weapons before storming the US Capitol. Anyone participating in this was part of an attempted coup.

Lots of people use social media to organize. There were protests all summer long that did this, they even attacked several congressman and their families walking in DC. An act of terror too?

Its all correct information. Your walnut sized brain just isn't not smart enough to process it.
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 ... Correct info. the left has no clue what correct info. is..

I guess u still think the Russia nonsense was correct...
Laughable..!! Idiot..!!

All violence should be prosecuted. What made this 10 fold worse is the symbolism of these goons attacking the citadel of democracy while our representatives were attempting to certify the President. It doesn't get any worse than that.

Agree about all violence, but these were mostly peaceful. Did you condemn them destroying statues of Washington and Lincoln, symbols of freedom and democracy?

Correct, but white supremacist's, Antifa and anarchists' are NOT republicans which you seem to be conferring. There are extremist jack asses on both ends of the spectrum. This report analyzed 61 events last year, and yes they did lump Antifa and anarchist's in the right-wing. As the report said most of these events occurred during protests and 5 people died in total; most being the perpetrators.

Spot on. These people went to DC for one specific purpose - to stop the democratic transition of power, so no one who participated in any of this should be viewed with anything but contempt, and anyone who went into the Capitol should be headed straight to prison.

Huh? Everyone has a right to protest, these jackasses and BLM and both were infiltrated by extensor agitators and both groups tore shit up. Do you have a double standard?

Agree. So should those who tore up and destroyed businesses.

I’m not with none of the looting/vandalism shyt..having said that, if you can’t/don’t tell the difference between what BLM has been protesting for and yesterday, it’s because you don’t wanna know & I got nothing for ya dawg...

100%. People who demonstrate peacefully (like civil rights marchers and all) have every right to do so. The moment you cross the line and start destroying things or breaking and entering into federal property, you should go to jail. If you do that in the process of attempting to overthrow the US government then you should probably spend the rest of your life behind bars.

As much as political affiliations may make us all here seem so vastly different, I would venture we are more alike than the rancor makes us sound. That’s the same for the vast majority of Americans, but the politicians prefer to divide by amplifying our differences .

We all find ourselves on a message board for a shared passion. Most Americans are fiscally conservotive as we have to manage our our household finances. The grand majority are also socially moderate, as that’s predominantly individual choices that happen behind closed doors and doesn’t effect your neighbor.

The political divide is not created by the people but instead the politicians. Think about how little actually gets accomplished in Washington DC, last year one of their “BIG” initiatives was to do away with daylight savings time; they couldn’t even get that done.

Can’t we all just get along?
