Pro - Has NFL experience. Mario both knows him and played with him here. Has worked with a LOT of good players over the years. 20+ years of experience. VERY cerebral when it comes to offense.
Cons - recruiting, but do we need him to recruit? We have Mas/Lemonis money. Radakovich in the building. Mario, T-Rob, and others primarily handling recruiting. Can Chud implement a modern/progressive spread offense? Please no 22 personnel with a FB. I will forever LOVE my FBs like Najeh and Hill and Kyle Cobia. That was then - this is now, and can Chud evolve? No idea.
One of the major things which has hamstrung this Program for so many years is using the rear view mirror to hire coaches.
But to be fair- one of the main reasons why we hired Mario, was to entrust him with this Program as a culture builder etc., and hire coaches at all levels to make this Program an elite Program again. So I suppose we will see how it plays out.
