We stopped UW early in the 2000 game, and they punted to Santana, and he fumbled it, different type of play but a TO that really hurt the team. Resulted in a TD. He was a SR, and then I think did the same thing early against WVU which was our next game.
I am not suggesting Thomas is as tough as Moss, he isn't and he is not local like Moss, but this is part of the game of football, esp early in the season. Thomas needed to make that catch, and I think it is GREAT that Manny was focused more on that, but he decided to come back and he will have all season to make plays.
Santana had an amazing 2000. Thomas is not him but he can have an amazing 2019.
