Final Update:
Caniacs...
We got a great response from our team tonight...after getting routed last night 14-3 giving up 17 hits, the Canes with their back to the wall turns the tables to knock out 17 hits of their own en route to a 10-3 win.
Canes Win!!!!! Canes Win!!!! Canes Win!!!!! Canes Win!!!!! Canes Win!!!
That sets up a HUGE rubber match on Sunday at 1 pm with the winner taking the series. We have to get that W and hopefully, the momentum from this game will carry over to Game 3.

Major kudos to our team...they had to respond or fold...and they responded, big time to get the W...very proud of these kids...gotta do it again tomorrow...
After last night's rout, I thought tonight was the biggest game of the year for our team. How would we respond? Would we roll over or would we fight back? We fought back, big time. Now, Game 3 on Sunday becomes our biggest game of the season. We must win this series and that means winning Game 3.
Thanks for being a part of this game thread, Caniacs...
It's always great to be...but especially after a rebound like tonight. I hope U can join me Sunday at 1 pm.
Go Canes!

Good evening, Caniacs...
It's Game 2 at The Light...Miami (27-16, 15-15/ACC) vs Georgia Tech (25-18, 19-12/ACC) as Miami falls 2 1/2 game behind the Jackets in the Coastal Division.
Just my .02 but I think tonight is a make-or-break game for our Canes or certainly, the most important to date. We CANNOT lose tonight and lose the series.
Here's what Coach G had to say after last night's drubbing:
“We’ve had a few of these games. It’s very disappointing,” head coach Gino DiMare said. “We’ve just had some lopsided games and we’ve been on the wrong side of them. It all starts again on the mound and just given up big, big, big inning there in the third inning and just can’t seem to get that consistency with the starters and that makes it very difficult and we haven’t been very good we’ve fallen behind a bunch of runs.”
RHP Jake Smith...2-0...3.41 ERA will start for the U.
