That fat little troll should be banned from the University of Miami campus. Put her on the UM football terrorist watch list.
Not quite sir... I rip on her not only because she single handedly ruined UM's dominant athletic department, but also because of her affiliation with The Clintons.
Tough thing is... I have a difficult time trying to decide which is worse.

Donna's politics don't really matter. COME ON. And she was not responsible for Shapiro. That photo is the biggest and dumbest bit of BS I have ever seen. She is raising billions, and Shapiro jumps up and gives 50k?! That's amazing that is almost what is costs for us to send one single D1 ath to school. Well actually not even almost that. And the best part is the idiots in the media acted like it was a big deal. Oh my Gosh 50k! Shapiro never even paid for his stupid rec room, and I read articles talking about he was our biggest booster. Some people saw the guy at events, but half his photos were at awards dinners. Dude I have several shots from those, Steve Walsh talked to me for a half hour or so once. He was being friendly. Anyone can go. Anyway, the idea she is responsible for that mess is silly. SHE DID FIGHT BACK and the NCAA screwed up and gave up. Foote rolled over and you saw what happened.
But she was bad for football. She hired Randy -- Golden was a rubber stamping of a descision that looked better on paper -- and she didn't fight for the OB. Once we had to dump a ton of money into a project we would not actually own, she was out. I think there may have been more options, but we didn't fight.
She made some bad investments as well.
THAT SAID, she was not only one of most successful presidents in UM history but in the nation. Nobody thinks otherwise honestly. She elevated the school to an entirely different level. Walk around UM and it's a totally different school. It's a different world. The current President would not have come here if not for what Donna did. She was bad for football, but I don't see how anyone should care about her politics (really irrelevant to anything) and her tenure was terrific.
She could teach anywhere she wants btw.

Again, she was an extraordinary President. I don't blame football people for being pissed at her, but they should be pissed bc of Randy and the OB to a lesser degree. Shapiro has nothing to do with her, except that she didn't take any @#$@#% from the NCAA at the end and she would have torn it apart if they came after us. We don't get a slap on the wrist with Tad F as President. And she made the move to the ACC which was brilliant for us. Our failures on the field are our own, but the ACC has been terrific for the U, it's why we can afford Richt in the first place.
As for being a faculty member, you think a two term Republican cabinet member would not get a gig here? Or anywhere? She has a ton to offer and that's that. Besides, she has tenure. The President had nothing to do with it. That's what tenure is. She never tech left UM.

If you want to dislike her bc she is a Democrat, that's fine. But it has nothing to do with anything. Her contacts did wonders for UM. I am not an all Donna all the time 'Cane. I was furious about some of what she did, far too much to go through. But she was a strong leader and a terrific President. Anyone who thinks otherwise, really doesn't know much about UM. She made one terrible call financially, but in terms of the rest of her tenure.... She transformed the University.
When calling people simpelton's it imperative to both spell it right and pluralize it correctly. If not, you'll be just like those simpletons.
This was the plan since the day she announced she was leaving. The university said as much. Regardless of politics or your idiocy it is a massive coup for the U.

Teaching young people is a noble thing. It has nothing to do with the football program. She is an elite educator. Those should always be welcome at Miami.

Um....... the football program is the only reason any of us are on this site. What you are saying is the equivalent of tellIng the family members of the people murdered by ARon Hernandez, he was a great person because of his accomplishments on the football field. So maybe take a breath back up and punt. Try again, because she attempted to murdered one of the greatest football programs of all time.

During Madam Shalala's time at the helm, the Schwartz Center of Athletic
Excellence and the Watsco were just a few among many of her accomplishments.
One may never know her bucket list and it's impossible to fully satisfy
everyone but in my book, she did a tremendous job!

Well, to people that care about more than just a dude running with and throwing a football she did well as the school president. I wish she put more money behind the football program however. I don't hate her. I have moved on. Some people here are like old women. Just stay pissed at the same shit every day for years.
