Gary and Matt - Can we please relax with the slobbering love affair with Manny Diaz, after beating two very mediocre teams by 5 points, games we easily could have lost. Who cares is they were ranked in the top 20…..they weren’t the 1991 or 1992 FSU type teams that we just beat.
NC State would have won that game easily if 88 caught the balls he has been catching all year and the refs didn’t give Miami a gift on that fumbled punt. Pitt, meanwhile ran up 600 yards of offense…..600 and Miami also got a gift when that safety wasn’t called in the 4th quarter, which would have probably changed the outcome of the game as well.
The team has 4 losses….4 losses in 8 games, and you guys are treating it like they are marching towards the playoffs, while all the team is doing, is being stuck in mediocrity and possibly going to a BS bowl game in the middle of nowhere.
Maybe winning the BS Coastal and possibly the ACC will be a good thing, one more opportunity for a team like Alabama, Oklahoma, Cincinnati, or Ohio State to wipe the team off the field in the first 5 mins of the game and hopefully, finally bring a change in leadership to this horror show!!
