There is only 1 coach currently in Div. 1 that has consistently lost only 1 game a year on average and never been blown out.......That is Nick Saban (Dabo was in the convo until this season), so unless Saban is on the table, I don't want to hear any bashing of candidates that have either won multiple conference championships, had 10 win seasons, and are consistently at least "in the hunt" mid season for a playoff spot. The U hasn't sniffed that in 20 years, and Manny definitely is not the guy to get us there. Therefore, Mario, Lane, and any other coach that meets above criteria is a HUGE upgrade and have at least a fighter's chance of getting us back to some level of national prominence.....When was the last time we finished in the top 25 at the end of regular season? We don't even sniff top 25!!! Some of you think we could beat Oregon??? Are you serious? Our signature win is Pitt!!! The ignorance on here is insane....
