What's the benefit in this case about lying about chemical weapons? We're not looking to put troops on the ground in Syria. Its one thing to take on the Republican Guard in Iraq, its another to shoot Russian soldiers who are a lot more skilled than Iraq in air to air combat. Also, other countries are independently confirming that it was Assad that used chemical weapons.

Good points, we’ve already killed 2 or 3 hundred Russians but press didn’t report it because it didn’t fit Trump weak on Putin agenda. They even have Russian intercepted transmissions where their saying the Americans are chopping us up. I just don’t think you can ever be on right side here. Turks who use to be our allies cozy with Russians to get at Kurds everybody seems to have a centuries old grudge.
