Here lately I have noticed that we are taking a lot of commitments from players not highly rated and the ones who are rated higher are decommit.
One in particular is the DE who jumped ship compared to the two who did commit in between.
We lose a 4 star who didn't perform well at Paradise Camp but gain two three stars at the same position who were ready to show out at camp.
Then there is a two star OL with offers from Wake Forest.
So, are we stretching/reaching like the Golden years or is it better evaluation like Butch Davis and Jimmy Johnson years?
The only thing that sticks out is the measurables. Even the 2 star OL is 6-6 275.
What do you think!
