Walford had a great season. No TE on the roster is likely to match his pass receiving and run blocking ability. The most prominent characteristic of this unit is its alarming lack of playing experience.

Dobard-He is the clear number one. Showed enough last season to indicate that he will be a good receiver in 2015. Once he gets going, he is a load to tackle. He is going to make some big plays. He had a terrible year as a run blocker. He needs to get a lot better at that.

Herndon-He did not play a lot. Not a lot to go on in terms of his receiver ability. He only had 3 balls thrown to him, none of which he caught. He dropped 2 really-easy-to catch passes which is not encouraging. Despite being undersized, he was a much better run blocker than Dobard, but its a small sample size. It looks like he may play H-back. I don't see him as being much of a factor.

O'Donnell-Played very little. Didn't block well. He had no passes thrown to him. Had a really good Spring game and made a couple of difficult catches.

Njoku-He is supposed to be a superior athlete. He didn't get any playing time at the position last year.

Washington-I thought his highlights were impressive. He is a big guy with fluid movements. He was an EE. Reports indicate that he really struggled in the Spring. It looks like he has a long way to go before he is ready for prime time.
