" The formula situation wouldn't be so bad had 191 Republicans not voted the way they did"
Biden has blame for formula but it's not only his fault Trump has a hand in it too,"
Blah blah blah THE TWIST is on. Here comes the liberal Boogy Woogy!

The theory is that somehow Republicans blocked being able to get formula from other countries.
Utter nonsense. You can't get European formula for reasons as silly as our labeling regulations.
You can't get Formula from Canada although we have Free Trade with canada.

This is what and how the liberals and their cronies in the media operate.
Take an unmitigated disaster and try to TWIST it to appear that they are either a) not at fault or b) if they are someone else is also in the crapper with them.

If you google FDA recalls a list opens up. Just since January 1st, 2022 there must be 80-100 recalls where factories had to do something to re-open. Everything from Gortons Fish Sandwiches for bone fragments to insulin factory for missing labels. Usually we rarely hear of these but for some reason Abbott was closed up responsible for 40+% of baby formula in America and so far as I can tell there was no urgency to assist in getting it re-opened quickly.
Why not? Isn't that really the question? Why not?

Congress PASSES $28M in emergency funding to fix baby formula shortage

The House passed two bills. The first was a measure approved on a 414-9 vote will allow low-income women to purchase more baby formula. The second was the emergency funding.

Their fates are uncertain in the Senate, but Democratic Majority Leader has said he will try and pass the bills by unanimous consent - even though it could be blocked by one Senator.

House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik also proposed a GOP the Babies Need More Formula Now Act that would increase the supply by lifting restrictions on the importation of infant formula and reducing barriers to innovation by new brands

And to top it off , the imported baby formula will NOT. Be available to middle class families, but rather will be used in the WIC program for “underprivileged “ people. Of course!
