Even though the overall defensive statistics were pretty good, I find this troubling. Combined with few INTs, we did not have a big play defense. No one has a shut out defense anymore. The offensive point totals are astronomical in college football. You need a defense to at least make big plays.
The Miami defense was 97th in TFL last year.
