If you want to root for a school who has the desire to compete on the highest stage and win national championships then you are better served finding a new team.
Thats it in a nutshell. All the other crap on this board is just noise today. The above statement is 100% fact. Winning in CFB today takes a burning desire from schools BOT and President. We have a BOT and President who do not care at all.
All the rest is just noise. Talking until your blue in the faces about Manny, schemes, playcalling etc is useless. The commitment from the top isn't there. The University of Miami football program is dead. Gary keeps saying Miami can be Miami again, but i strongly disagree. Recruits these days have never known Miami to be anything other than a joke. There is no change in sight at the President and BOT level. The longer we go on like this the chances this program can ever recover becomes even slimmer and slimmer.
I think the history of this program will be defined as a small private school who had a few runs of dominance before the internet exploded. Before the internet we had mostly exclusive access to these south florida kids. We could keep the elite of the elite home. Now every coach in america has access to south florida kids at the click of a button. Now you have to have big $$$ to compete and we dont have that.
