And perhaps that, sadly as it is, is the most encouraging sign for this upcoming season... lol. I mean, if there was EVER a year for Golden to prove me and about 90% of this fan base wrong, then THIS would seem to be the year, no...?
You look at these ACC Coastal teams, and there just isn't what I would call an "elite" team. You have a lot of 9-3/8-4 type teams in Virginia Tech, Duke, Georgia Tech, and maybe a North Carolina, but I don't see a team that is a 10-2 Top-15 team here folks. Is Georgia Tech really supposed to be the class of this Division...??? A Flexbone Triple Option team...??? Wow, how many teams in either the Big XII or the SEC would love to have Georgia Tech, a one-trick pony, as the team to knock off its perch...??? What the hell must these SEC West fans think about the type of Division that is the Coastal... lol...
Talk about a no-excuses year. Can anybody find any real reason, other than this coaching staff, as to why the 2015 Hurricanes can't win the Coastal Division...? I sure can't, which is part of the frustration of the fans which has been boiling for some time now- the damn Coastal Division is sitting right there for the taking seemingly every year, and we let it go to another team.
