With an extra week to prepare, we were out-prepared, out-schemed, and above all out-played. ALL on coaching.

The first quarter was an abomination of football. Diaz's defense was giving it up Linda Lovelace gag style. On offense, Enos failed to establish any rhythm for our guys, and ran several head scratching plays early. I thought that Enos was grossly inefficient, inconsistent, and incompetent with his schemin, play calling, and adjustments. He failed to have a counter to UNC's defensive counter. Yes, Jarren had a mostly good game. Something like 75% completion % 300 yards and 2 TDs, but Jarren still held the ball too long, and fumbled twice. Had a great throw Mallory to take the lead. But he and Enos clearly could not give this offense any kind of big impact play, and the bottom line is that this offense was 3-11 on 3rd Down and only scored 25 points against a C+/B- level defense. Stats don't tell the whole story. Nowadays in college football, the top offenses get to 30-35 points almost every game. Clemson socred as much as we did playing #12 TAMU, and LSU hung 40+ on a top-10 Texas team. And here were are playing with our cocks and balls on offense looking like shit for 2/3 of the game on offense.

We were always chasing the game, and never had control of it.

Absolutely pathetic to let a true freshman QB carve this defense up the way that he did. Hey, kudos to Howell. That guy proved a lot of people wrong last night. This team had the lead, like it did against against UF, late, and I thought for sure our defense would close it with 4 Minutes left with the lead. But no, we give it up, and UNC had that big 4th Down Conversion, and we really deserved to lose the way our defense folded. And who is coaching the defense again...? Right.

Finally on Special Teams, Baxa continues to disappoint. 2 games now where his poor short range kicking was a major contribution to the loss. Special Teams as a whole is weak- neither creativity nor impact. ALL on coaching.

Inexcusable loss. UNC now holds the tiebreaker for the Coastal Division, and there is a good chance that we won't win the Coastal Divsion because of last night's loss. People should be pissed, and there is no way to spin that shit. COACHING FAILED. I consistently stated that I didn';t think that the game would be a blowout, but never did I think that we would lose. 0-2 (0-1) to start the season, and now a bunch of worthless cupcakes at home in front of a meager 25,000 crowd, as we sink further into the abyss of irrelevance.
