many teams that are bigger than our guys. We have size on the Off from the OL-RB-TE & WR's. Golden commented on the OL today and while Gary has wrote a few articles about how the OL will be weak & other sports sites have said it too, I didn't pay much attention to it. Even the true fresh that has come in look older and more mature than what they really are. AG also mentioned Loftus & when we were recruiting him & he committed, quite a few on here said "He wasn't good enough to get a Miami offer or play here" When NSD was over-I had a few sleepers in this class & he was 1 of them along with Fines.
Walter Tucker man-that kat looks good and I hope that Coley uses him more than just a blocker. Him & Gus inside the 20 could be huge & our Big TE's should also be huge. Walford was good no doubt but, there are a few at TE that can be better than he was & even put up bigger #'s. Just will depend on how much subbing we do this year. David N'JUKO looks real good & should be a big part of this Off this year. Both of the JUCO players brought in should be big time so while all these other teams who are drinking that kool-aid about this OL being weak? Well, they are gonna be in for a surprise come kick off. If these dudes play with a nasty attitude like Gadbois did & we have some that can, this OL will make holes for the RB's & protect Kaaya just fine. They are getting worked good by our DL where like I said"Those kats are big and strong & our OL working against them? Should have them ready and those 2 opening games will be big on giving them confidence and a sense of playing together and be ready for Nebraska when that 1 comes. If Al & this staff will just coach these games better than they have man, I see so much talent on both sides of the ball where there should be no reason we get blown out and even should win some games we're not supposed to. The players are here to win, they just need guidance & a staff that can see their strengths and game plan to that. And if they do, we have a shot to be a lot better than the ACC writers and CFB writers think of Miami.
I'm telling ya-Melvin has got something to work with on our DL's. Our DT position man, there's some big azz dudes in there that should hold their own against anyone we play & make plays consistently. I still hope Mark will get with Melvin weekly and let him be a part of the weekly game plan & scheme. Melvin & Kareem are seeing these guys up close a lot more than Mark & if he will just listen to their input, I think we will be up there in sacks &TFL's this year. And if we are able to pressure consistently , we have the guys at DB/S that can make plays & take a int to the house. The DB/S squad as a unit should have the most INT's this year since Al & his bunch came here. Make no mistake pretty much everything this Defense can be rides on the DL's to help take a lot of pressure off our LB's & give them & the back unit chances to make big plays. I'm anxious to read the news & notes on the Thurs night scrimmage.
