I think he realizes he could not take this program any further and where it needed to be. Probably saved grace by doing it this way. Lots of talent and could not get out of their own regionals over the years.

I think him not putting Walters in during ACC championship game when we were up 5-3 going into 7th was a huge failure. Certainly, appreciate all his past efforts.
