except for when trump does it, right? It’s one thing to meet with foreign leaders, it’s another thing to gift a terrorist sponsorship nation twenty billion in unmarked cash so that it can’t be traced. Imagine if for one second trump even thought about gifting russia 20 mill in any form of currency let alone 20 bill in unmarked cash.
The difference between these previous leaders and Trump is that the latter doesn't care about the country. He is simply using the Presidency to advance his own personal interests, which has been demonstrated over and over again over the past 3 years from the emoluments cases because he refused to divest himself from his assets to having US Air Force crews stay at his properties overseas to attempting to extort a foreign leader in order to investigate his own domestic political opponents. He's a craven, venal, and rampantly amoral person, which is why he has spent his entire Presidency under so much scrutiny.

Trump on the other hand, refused to divest from his actual properties and used the Presidency to not only make money for himself, but also astonishingly used it to enrich his own kids (see Ivanka and her Chinese trademarks). Once foreign government's realized that Trump was venal and corrupt, they immediately began to curry favor with him by staying at his properties and helping his friends and family members out. That's pure corruption.
If it's based on actually doing something beyond a photo-op then yes. He has met with Kim twice and not actually accomplished anything other than proving he can meet with him to take a few pictures.

Micheal Cohen, Trump's former personal lawyer, was sentenced in December 2018 to 3 yrs of prison for lying to Congress, campaign spending violations and tax evasion. He also received an additional 2 months of prison time for lying to Congress about a Moscow Trump tower deal.
George Papadopoulos, a former Trump foreign policy advisor, was sentenced in September 2018 to 14 days in prison (with a year of supervised release) after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian intermediaries during the 2016 campaign. In October of this year, he filed to run for Katie Hill's vacant California Congressional seat.
Paul Manafort, Trump's former campaign manager, was found guilty by a Virginia court of tax & bank fraud in August 2018, and in Nov 2018 voided his plea deal (by lying to investigators) in separate federal charges brought by Mueller; he is currently serving a combined 7 & a 1/2 yrs in prison for both cases.
Rick Gates, a former deputy for Manafort during the Trump campaign, pleaded guilty in Feb 2018 to charges of conspiracy against the US & making false statements.
Micheal Flynn, Trump's former National security advisor, pleaded guilty in Dec 2017 to lying to the FBI but nearly 2 yrs later has yet to be sentenced; his sentencing has been scheduled for early December.
