I’d rather have UM pay Stadium Rent to a UM Grad Family of Four than to pay Stephen Ross Rent to use Dolphins Stadium.

Stephen Ross (Gator and Michigan Grad) donated $478 Million Dollars to the University of Michigan.

Why doesn’t U of Miami just send their HRS Rent Money straight to the University of Michigan to save Ross the hassle.

I’m sure Billionaire UM Grad John Ruiz and his 3 UM Grad kids would want to donate any profits from the Hurricanes Stadium to the University of Miami.

I truly believe when Mr. Ruiz says he’s been Blessed in Life financially so in return he passionately wants to help others, help his local community and his beloved Hurricanes.

If I had Ruiz Money, I also would want to use $478 million to build UM a new College Atmosphere Stadium for my beloved Hurricanes.

Unfortunately, there isn’t any room for a Stadium on the Campus.
But, the next best option would be to try and Build a UM Stadium as close as possible.
Ie; Tropical Park (3.5 miles from Campus).

Game Days would incorporate both the Campus and UM Stadium at TP.

A fleet of UM Campus Shuttle Busses can move Students/Faculty/UM Donors/UM Employees/Alumni/Fans to and from UM TP Stadium.

Traffic would be a lot less if Fans would utilize any Metro Rail parking stations. These fans could ride the Metro Rail, get off at the UM Station and hop on a UM Shuttle Bus for a 3.5 mile ride.

Older Cane Fans remember trying to
Squeeze in 80k fans into the old Orange Bowl Home Games off the only Highway 836.

UM Stadium @TP is sandwiched in between the Florida Turnpike and Highway 826 and 874.
UMS@TP would only be taking in 50-54k Fans.

More Highway access for less people than the old Orange Bowl.

The Tropical Park would be a great Tailgating Setting. Fans could come
Early and leave later to avoid any traffic.

The UM Stadium @TP could be a tremendous recruiting tool for Mario.

Mario could conveniently drive Recruits at any time of the day down the street 3.5 miles from Mario’s Office to Show Off the new UM Stadium with Statutes of UM Heisman Trophy Winners Vinny and Gino, a Statute of Howard Schnellenberger (The Legendary Coach who lifted UM to a Championship Level) at the front entrance to the UM Stadium.

Mario could show the recruits the (5) National Championship Displays, the Shrines to Sean Taylor and Jerome Brown, show every UM All-American Players Names painted on the Stadium Walls and show plaques of all the UM players who made it to rhe NFL Hall of Fame.

Mario could host Footballs Camps, Clinics, Youth Football Tournaments at UM Stadium.

The UM Fans could enjoy the UM Stadium for the UM Spring Game
and for the Fall Camp Scrimmages.

Dade County High Schools could benefit from a UM Stadium by having Big High School Football Games, HS playoffs, Divisional Florid State Championship Games played at UMS@TP.

The U Brand is key to winning recruiting battles.

When you have your own UM Stadium with Green and Orange seats, with the U logo painted all over the Stadium, when you have streets around the Stadium named after UM Legends like:
“Jimmy Johnson Way”
“Jim Kelly Pass”
“Sean Taylor Street”
“Ted Hendricks Avenue”
All this EyeCandy will most definitely improve the UM Brand and it makes it more attractive to the top HS recruits in the Country. Making it easier for Mario to win key recruiting battles.

UM forced to Play Home Games one hour away at the HRS hurts recruiting.

95% of UM Home Games are filled with thousands of quiet empty teal colored seats.

This fact is tremendously damaging to the UM Brand.
(It’s a cringing TV eye-sore)

The One Home Game that UM usually sells out at HRS is the FSU game.

And that’s only because the FSU fans buy up all the remaining tickets that the small UM Fanbase doesn’t buy.

This is the reason HRS fills up with Garnet and Gold Team Colors.
Making it a neutral site.

Probably one of the major reasons why UM’s record vs FSU in HRS is 2 wins and 5 losses.

What can Mario show off to the recruits at the Dolphins Stadium, the Statutes of Don Shula and Dan Marino?
Where’s the
Marketable U Brand at HRS?

I’d rather have the Ruiz Family build UM a mini Orange Bowl Stadium @ TP with a closed West end zone for all the crazy UM Fans and Students.

54 thousand Orange and Green seats (the same size stadium as U of Oregon Stadium that’s ranked # 2 College Stadium in all of America for Noise Atmosphere).

The Stadium could have a opened East end zone overlooking the beautiful Biltmore Hotel, the UM Dorm Towers, the Skyline of Coral Gables, Brickell, Grove and Miami.

UM could have the option of adding additional seats for the FSU game in the East end zone so they can watch their “Wide Right Kicks.”

What true UM fan wouldn’t want a Game Day Experience at a UM Stadium like this?

What a Home Field Advantage this UM Stadium could be!!
