Pretty much every south fla high school runs spread. Most successful programs are running it. It has produced top draft picks at QB, WR, RB and olinemen. 3 of the 4 teams in the last 2 national championships were spread teams. 2 out of the 4 teams that made the playoffs were spread teams. The two teams that were left out but were in the conversation ( Baylor & TCU) are spread teams. TCU hires a spread coach and goes from 4-8 to 12 - 1 with a converted WR turned QB who finished 5th in heisman voting.
