With Fox Fake News non-stop reporting of lies about the coronavirus many of their viewer's lives are at stake. Their daily dose of false or incomplete coverage of this virus has led to much of their audience not knowing how to protect themselves in this time of crisis. This is where the term "low information" voter comes from when describing a Trump supporter. Some of their viewer's have died for lack of information. But yet, behind closed doors Fox Fake News tell their staff how to protect themselves. Here are some excerpts from the article.

The insidious feedback loop between President Trump and Fox News is no secret. When Trump says “jump,” the network leaps into action. And what the president hears on Fox News often dictates his own pronouncements and policies — which, in turn, are glowingly represented in Fox News’s coverage and commentary.

That’s never been anything short of dangerous, since the effect has been to create a de facto state-run media monster more devoted to maintaining power than shedding light on the truth. But now the mind-meld of Fox News and Trump is potentially lethal as Trump plays down the seriousness of the coronavirus and, hearing nothing but applause from his favorite information source for doing so, sees little reason to change.

There’s one person who could transform all that in an instant: Fox founder Rupert Murdoch, the Australian-born media mogul who, at 89, still exerts his influence on the leading cable network — and thus on the president himself.

So imagine if the word flowed down from on high that Fox News should communicate to Trump that he needs to take an entirely new tack on the virus. Imagine if Murdoch ordered the network to end its habit of praising him as if he were the Dear Leader of an authoritarian regime and to instead use its influence to drive home the seriousness of the moment.

The network’s influence on Trump is clear from the presidential tweets that follow fast on the heels of a Fox News broadcast. He was always a fan of Fox News, but after entering the White House, he made it even more of an obsessive daily habit, Bloomberg News reported in 2017, to the extent of blotting out dissenting voices from other sources.

Trump made specific reference to his reliance on Fox News during his misleading press event Friday, when he offered unwarranted reassurance rather than urging extreme caution and decisive action: “As of the time I left the plane . . . we had 240 cases — that’s at least what was on a very fine network known as Fox News.”

The message: Go about your business, America, and it will all disappear soon.

Days later, 30 deaths and more than 1,000 cases have been reported in the United States, with those numbers expected to grow exponentially. (By contrast, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is telling hard truths: As much as 70 percent of that country could end up being infected.)

Matt Gertz, a Media Matters senior fellow and the foremost chronicler of the insidious Trump-Fox News feedback loop, connected the dots: “Roughly an hour before his comments, a Fox News medical correspondent argued on-air that coronavirus was no more dangerous than the flu; a few hours later, the same correspondent argued that coronavirus fears were being deliberately overblown in hopes of damaging Trump politically.”

@gferman , Gary, do you have any policy to delete unfounded conspiracy theories like the one expressed in the OP?

The next thing you know, the other side will be spreading the one about Hillary Clinton running a sex trafficking ring out of that D.C. pizza parlor or the theory about the Dems having plans to ban and confiscate everyone’s bibles.

But I saw Fox News killing Americans. And I had not heard about the Pizza Parlor incident until lefties starting advancing it as the reason Hillary lost the election. BTW, Hillary lost the election because she is totally unlikable. Ask Bill! He'll tell you how pathetic she is.

Because Cems thinks he is making a killer point. I am not going to read it either. A few moments ago I skimmed the portion Cems posted. I was quite surprised at how poorly it was written.

Cems agrees with the Chinese. Right now they say that Americans invented the virus and then, using American soldiers, brought it into Wuhan Province.
Feel the need to clarify. The Chinese are saying that we brought the Virus into China. Cems has not reached that point yet. He's close, but he's not there. I was merely trying to put a little levity into Cems' absurd post.

Two things are certain: 1. Like every leftie you have no sense of humor as you take yourself extremely seriously;
2. You never make a point so there is nothing to prove or disprove.
Thanks for entertaining us with your nonsensical and worthless posts.

I think Trump should start being nice to CNN and not Fox. After all, CNN is just so fair with him. Totally unbiased in their reporting.

Lol.

Talk about hysteria...... OP what a joke.
Well over a million people die every single year in car accidents. Are you going to stop driving?
The media has created a monster.

The mainstream media IS a monster- a liberal bitch whore operating as an anti-American far left libtard propaganda machine for the Democratic Party.

CEMS your just an awful guy. Trump was and is ahead of the game. He shut down travel Jan 31st. Europe are the ones struggling with the Chinese Vivid not the US. We have 41 deaths and not a single one in the last 24 hours. Your hatred is disgusting. It doesn't matter what Trump does you and all the Libs always find a way to spin it. Obama had over 1k in deaths from the swine flu and over 20k hospitalized before he declared an epidemic and he's is your hero.

I would say the feeling is mutual except your posts are pathetic and not entertaining. Where is Fox killing people now? Do you feel in danger? Are you cocooning?

I don't watch that "killing machine". You on the other hand are "infected" with their non-stop lying and misinformation. No wonder they call you and other right wing nutjobs low information supporters.

Most Americans think Trump is doing a poor job in handling this crisis.

See.....

A majority of voters disapprove of President Trump's handing of the coronavirus, according to a new Hill/HarrisX poll.

Fifty-three percent of registered voters disapprove of Trump's handling of the virus, while 47 percent approve.

Ominously for Trump, 58 percent of independents disapprove of his handling of COVID-19.

You think and whine about Fox all of the time. When this did obsession start? You don't hear me whine about CNN. I feel sorry for you. I know it's tough being a nobody.

I post about Fox Fake News to enlighten you and others of their blind support for a corrupt president. They do so by telling lies and misinformation that hurt our democracy.

I feel so sorry for you. I hope you feel better. You are a comic version of Moby Dick, except in your case it's Fox news instead of the whale. Take a pill and go to sleep please.

Open your eyes. Fox Fake News is conning you and others. Stop the insanity.

You really need to read. Insanity is defined as the inability to tell right from wrong. It's determined by the M'Naughten Test. You really meant to say something like "stop the psychosis". In your case I would say stop the hysteria and the paranoia. I feel badly for you when you lose it.
I guess it's time for you to get really angry now... like a little baby that doesn't get its milk.
Read more Cems. Watch TV less. And please don't worry about what others are watching.
