whether we want to admit it or not raceism has penetrated throughout our society. we say no but the truth is we all have some sort of raceist views..it shouldnt be in these times but it is. i at times have made racist remark. now it doesnt mean it is necessarily toward any one race. what we are seeing is not protesting but a large group of extreme leftist under the leadership of george soros that breed the fomenting of hate. they are no different than isis. we must fight against these people and allow real protesting which is peaceful. its our god given right

Do you even understand what BLM means? It's not a group or an organization. It's a human rights movement, that originated in the AA community, that campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards AA. This movement also has roots in other countries. If you feel this is an issue faced by Whites, they too should have such a movement.

I don't think you see "people" and I say "people" because all races are looting and destroying property and setting fires.....but I don't see any of that happening if we don't have to watch on video all these senseless murders. If we don't have to watch someone getting the cops called on them for asking a woman to put a leash on her dog...or trying to barbecue. It's cause and effect. I think what the issue many people, including myself have with the BLM and similar movements is 1. They believe and act like they are the only ones that have a right to be upset about injustice and perceived racism and 2. They pick and choose what they fine “racist” or I just. What I find interesting is the focus of everyone including BLM is the killing of black men or women by white cops. Yet that particular demographic is tiny compared to other what I believe much more pressing issues. In fact in 2019 235 black persons were killed by police. Know how many whites 370. So where is the outrage for the white victims. So then people will say “yes but blacks are a smaller percentage of the population so even if the raw number is lower the percentage is higher”. Ok well is it that mentality the number of all whites killed should I be significantly higher right. Nope...In 2019 all whites killed 6088, number of blacks killed. 7407. Oh and to top it off 94% of all blacks murdered are by other blacks. So doesn’t THAT seem like a much bigger problem. To me it is. But the fact is white cops are an easy target to blame. And that way they don’t have to look inward to their problems. Hey it’s the white cops fault. You don’t see rioting and looting and protests when a black cop shoots a black individual. No it’s only when a white cop kills a black man. And why this is happening is because racism works BOTH ways. And black la can be just as racist as whites but no one will say that. But the numbers don’t lie. They are politicizing an issue which is such a rare occurrence to push their own agenda. And you have tons of people cow towing to these racists because they’re scared of being called a racist themselves. Oh and since I’m sure it will be asked those numbers are straight from the DOJ.
Why don't you share with us the number of white people who have been killed by cops unjustifiably during the last 10 years? Make sure these killings were done in similar fashion as George Floyd, Eric Garner, and here's more.

I think you’re missing my point. My point is that ALL people killed unjustly is wrong. And just like Black people don’t want to be judged by the color of their skin, the same applies in reverse and the UNJUST killing of blacks is just as reprehensible as the UNJUST killing of whites, Latinos Asians etc. Blacks do not get to corner the market on unjust killings. Especially when there are less of them. And tbh linking an NPR podcast to support your view is akin to someone on the opposite side linking a Fox News article.

I guess we have to determine what you consider rare. Facts are last year 235 black individuals were killed by police. Let’s say for the sake of argument half of those were unwarranted (which i highly doubt) thats 117.5 (maybe they wounded one guy) lol) Now let’s look at another number. About 40% of the combined police forces in the US are black. So let’s say that 40% of those unwarranted killings was by a black officer. So now we’re at about 77 blacks killed unjustly by white, Latino or Asian officers. When you consider that there are tens of thousands interactions everyday between police and the public then to me 77 is rare. Now that being said even ONE unjust killing is too many but stop making this a race issue. George Floyd was killed by an asshole cop who should have never been allowed to wear a uniform and obviously has serious issues and should go to jail. But the overreaching that is happening is beyond ridiculous.
What I can tell you is that in public/civil service absolutely they are. Hence the term “minorities and women encouraged to apply”.

How about Tony Timpa? He wailed and pleaded for help more than 30 times as police pinned his shoulders, knees, and neck to the ground and said, "You're going to kill me," right before they did. As he was laying dead on the ground they were cracking jokes. Daniel Shaver? He was shot as he was crawling on his knees towards the cops while begging for his life. Of course there are many more but for some reason they don't make the national news headlines 24/7 when they occur.
