Assessing Gary’s breakdown of the team today, it is clear that after four years of AG we remain in many ways mediocre. Perhaps we are slightly better at OL and DL than expected, and perhaps not any better. Maybe we will win 8-9 games, and perhaps less. Regardless, even the more optimistic prognostications do not indicate what most of us expect.

But, I think there is a silver lining. Miami will be a very desirable job for a major head coach in 2016. Why?

  1. The QB situation should be good. Coley did a good job lining up backups and next generation players (and nobody should give this one to AG – it is Coley).

  2. The addition of the roof in 2016 at Sun Life will at least appear to address our biggest objection - negative “game day” experience. (Thank you SR.)

  3. The “cloud” along with all associated restrictions should be gone and by then will be yesterday’s news.
Many here were AG supporters perhaps because he seemed to “walk the walk” plus he hung in there during the Shapiro debacle. But, he has been paid millions for his loyalty and that is enough. He was a poor hire and time to move.
