I'm partial to Macallans but dont see a reason to go past 15.

My two kids are really into Japanese culture. Consequently, we went there a couple of years ago. I got to try a lot of Japanese whisky (yes, there is no “e”). The Japanese are good at copying other cultures and making improvements. I hear that some of the best flamenco dancing schools are in Japan. Anyway, worth a try if you can find the stuff.

Someone just gave me a bottle of Grainstone. I haven’t had scotch in a while and I have to say it’s pretty smooth.

I’d put a Glenmorangie 18YO against many higher aged products. Age is only a component of a scotch, not necessarily what makes it good.

Glenfiddich for me. 15yr is my go to. 18yr is worth the treat @ about 100 bucks. The 21 is amazing but not sure it’s worth the price.

Agree on Glenfiddich 15, prefer it over the 18 and won’t waste money on a 21.
