A study found that Anti-Asian sentiment depicted in Trump tweets perpetuated racist attitudes and parallels the Anti-Asian hate crimes that have occured since. Reseachers also found that the timimg of Trumps tweet was significant. The first time he used "Chinese Virus" was March 18, 2020 and the following week saw an increase in Anti-Asian hashtags and a rise in hate crimes. Do the research next time before you post and I promise I won't call you names.
