“The scoreboard is easy to see. Everybody recognizes that football went 6-7 last year and everybody recognizes that is not typical Miami football and that is not what our expectations are.”

James says he doesn’t look at recruiting rankings when evaluating the performance of a head coach.

“I am not a big follower of that,” James said. “What I want to see on the field on Saturdays is results. Whether they are a one star or a five star, I want to see guys making contributions to the program that are meeting our expectations as a university.”

“At the end of the year, if everyone feels there is a need for a change, we will make that decision as an institution and do what ever is best to put our program in the best light,” James said. “My job is to always do what is best for the University of Miami program. We are committed to being the best that we can be.”

Interesting statements, don't think I have heard him say this in the past. Do you believe him ???
