It's as if we've put ourselves back on probation. We have the worst OL of any team in the top 50. We have 1 OLine recruit. BCS teams have their lineman come in & redshirt. We are 5 years away from putting together an Oline that can play at a BCS level.
People on this board just assume we grab a DC & poof no problem that our D will remain great. Manny Diaz made us forget D'onfrios pathetic defenses & just how bad we were on D a few short seasons ago. How many hot coordinators are going to want to risk coming to coach for a HC who is clearly on the hot seat with a program that looks trending down quickly?
we haven't had great QB play in over 15 years since Ken Dorsey left. Richt ran Jake Allison out of town. He totally screwed up the season with his handling of the QB situation this year & didn't do N'kosi any favors for his future.
We'll be without our top 3 WR's next year from this year- jeff thomas, Ahman richards & Cager.
the roster will only get more depleted as guys will want to get out of here as well either foolishly declaring for NFL or transferring.
