NBA is not fixed. But I believe it is controlled. Zero chance that the NBA would allow an LBJ team to exit the playoffs early. It is called ratings. Boston is the better team. But do not bet against the NBA ordering the Cavs to the finals. Another 2 weeks of LBJ type ratings. When I bet the NBA, I treat it like Jai Alai. You know that somebody, somewhere knows the outcome. But what does it matter if you guess correctly? I am also convinced that the NBA knows their limits as far as what they can pull off to fool the public. For instance, no way they would have the Cavs beating Houston or GS in the Finals. But I fear that Boston might become a victim of the most controlled sport on the planet, save for pro wrestling and some boxing.

Depends. It's a battle of ratings vs making it look legit. I have a hard time believing that the NBA would allow LBJ to only appear 4 times in the Finals. I say 5 games.
