No Head Coach of any team at any level believes it's 1 play. Never, ever is it 1 play. For Manny to say we are trying to "find that 1 play" to get these guys the win just epitomizes why he is not a Head Coach.
I know he doesn't mean 1 literally but that's the quote in your front page article Gary. He was standing alone in the stadium crying I'm sure. His days are numbered as Head Coach. He was given the keys to a great program historically. Will he leave it better than he found it? I think so. Clearly we have players on this team. I see some real stars on this squad. The next staff will have plenty of pieces to work with but will require a mental re-boot to extract that ability because these players are put in a POSITION to fail week in and out by this coaching staff.
