Only 5% of gas stations are owned by big oil. 60% are owned by single or married individuals. 125,000 are also mini-marts. The amount a gas station makes on a gallon of gas is generally around .05 cents per gallon sometimes it's less. They make far more money on a cup of coffee or a bag of potato chips.

If you can get in your car and go up the street to another gas station then it isn't gouging because you have choices.

South Asians own many of the gas stations here in Texas , I’d say most .
Very competitive.
These folks work there ass’s off and are achieving the American dream . They don’t set prices
Schumer/ Warren etc want to impose penalties on oil companies who take profits and distribute them to their investors . I lost tons of $ investing in BP and Exxon in bad days , now they want to confiscate my $ in good days ?
