I wanted to post earlier but now see Manny made some comment and would like to hear some feedback: I think our pass rush was actually pretty decent against a formidable Alabama line. Yes, I know when we sent 5 or 6 guys, they torched us, but they also torched us in base defense. I saw good push up the middle, I saw our ends bull rushing their tackles and getting close. Their QB mobility was the difference. One to 3 steps to elude rush, ball out quick to wide open receiver - that was the problem. However, if you look at the highlights, even of the ones where Bama scored, our guys were getting some push. Look at their first TD where the QB rolled to his right, look at the pressure coming from the right side. Many other similar plays which give me hope for the rest of the season. Anyone else on board with this?
