I reviewed every receiver play from the Florida game in stop action and slow motion. I kept track of whether or not a receiver was open when the ball was thrown to him. The standard I use to determine openness is if a receiver touches or could have touched the pass and is able to take one step up field before contact with a defender, I consider him to be open. This usually requires good separation between the receiver and the closest defender. So it is a better measurement of the ability to get separation.
I also keep track of dropped passes. I only include those instances where the receiver fails to catch really-easy-to-catch passes. My results will, therefore, be far lower than those in other analyses.
My average yards after catch results will also differ from other analyses. I do not include TD, pass receptions that are made within three yards of the end zone because I feel those receptions do not fairly measure a receivers ability to advance the ball when it is impossible to get any more than three yards.
I do not keep statistics for games against non division one opponents.
I include statistics from plays which are subsequently nullified by penalty.

General Observations
1. Other than Dallas’ one hand grab of a screen pass, the receivers did not make any hard catches. They have to help the QB out a little more.
2. Mallory really struggled. I did not see that coming.
3. The WRs made no explosive plays.
