Moscow Mitch McConnell called the $1.9T American Rescue Plan "a horrible piece of legislation." They didnt do a damn thing to energize the economy. The plan was a proposal by the biden administration to speed up the recovery from the economic and health effects of the current pandemic and the ongoing recession. The bill was signed into law by Biden on March 11, 2021. Lets just say once again the repubs failed to move the needle.

Its obvious the repubs are not trying to win a popularity contest. Who wants to be popular when you can just make it a whole lot easier to over turn an election at will?

Expanded Sunday voting, expanded early voting, absentee ballots for any reason, got rid of soliciting voters in line even with food and drink however every precinct MUST supply unattended self service water, no precinct can have a line longer than 1 hour waiting time, no signature verification which is subjective instead voters must use a State ID number on their ballot and the State ID's are free to anyone who applies, State runoff elections time frame shortened. Back in 1984, in a gubernatorial race in New Jersey. At numerous precincts Republicans used off duty police officers, with side arms and wearing arm bands saying "Precinct Polling Police." An attempt to make minorities, mainly African Americans feel disenfranchised.
As recently as 12 years ago, the state of Alabama shut down all DMV nearest to the black belt counties.
State IDs are govt IDs and issued at all DMVs. If there is no public transportation how does one get a state ID which is necessary to vote???????? Even if they can drive and have a vehicle, they have to drive long distances.
In almost all black counties many live in public housing are required to have a public housing ID. Public housing is govt funded so how is it a public housing ID doesnt qualify as a proper ID to vote???????? To force blacks to jump thru hoops is unconstitutional. Full on JIM CROW
