sam bruce arrested

I wouldn't say that. Look at Noah Spence. 5* recruit went to OSU but got addicted to Molly or Ecstasy whatever u wanna call it. Got kicked out OSU & went to a lower level school where he turned it around & just got drafted in 2nd round of the draft. Ecstasy way worse than weed. Really in my eyes alcohol is worse than weed
I have to disagree about it being way worse than weed.......try having carnal relations while on ecstasy........I have heard only positive reviews :)

Two of Bruce’s former UM teammates, freshmen safety Cedrick Wright and tight end Jovani Haskins, were with Bruce when he was arrested, according to a source. Neither was charged. UM was gathering information Tuesday about their potential involvement.

“Sam Bruce is not part of our program,” UM Athletics Director Blake James said in a text message. “However, I am aware of the situation and will address any potential issues with the involved parties.”
These two can't be real bright hanging around Bruce who got kicked out of the program and then doing Weed or with him in the same car? Really...not too bright IMO!

We are spending tax payers $ on arresting kids for smoking weed? Why don't they just raid the dorms and bust a couple of thousand kids.
Bruce wasn't a member of the team . Just a college kid smoking weed. Maybe he should get 10-20 hard time!
I'm no liberal . Let's spend our tax $ finding and prosecuting criminals , not weed smoking kids

Not possible. Once you put your MUG on Facebook and Twitter that you are the next Cane great WR...the clock is running. At that point you had better not mess up. He messed up. If you wanna know my opinion...which most ppl don't. I think he had a Napoleon Complex.

One of the best posts I read on this site. Thank you.

I think it's sad in that this isn't the first time we have read this story. Sad in that he has f'd away a opportunity that many people would kill for. It's sad that most of the time you read about this, and the kids don't recover. He needs to Learn accountability or else he is doomed to fail.

How bizarre of you to think my post radical.
Of course it was. You implied he was arrested because he was a young black male not because he was breaking the law.

Had he been white or Asian doing the same he wouldn't have been arrested, right?

And you threw in "at least he wasn't shot" for good measure.

No agenda in your post at all.

You should work on reading for implication better. I implied being a young male probably contributed to his arrest, not that it was the sole cause of his arrest. Had he been white or Asian doing the same thing it would have been less likely that he would be arrested. This is not radical; it is observable and verifiable fact.

Oh yes you do. Unless you wanna be tasered and jailed. LAW AND ORDER will never go out of style you commy pinko ******.

The judicial branch says hi. So does your middle school government teacher. I know you enjoy being a smart ass, but really u should aim for less ass, more smart.

Yeah. Keep on studying in the law library and hitting that 420. I'll stay in the real world.

This makes no sense. Why mention his race if all you were implying was that being a young male is what got him in trouble? Then you assert that had he not been black and been doing the same thing, he probably doesn't get arrested. Contradict yourself much?

You're a radical because you threw in "at least he wasn't shot" in your other post. BLM?

I know many young white males that have been arrested for -

Dont feel bad

Has been a trainwreck for a year

Has to take responsibility
Disagree Gary, one can feel bad for the kid and still make him accountable. Richt had to kick him off the team, but I am sure felt bad about it at the same time. Whenever you see someone like Bruce slowly blow his future, you certainly can feel anger at his inability or unwillingness to change, while also wondering, with sympathy, what wired this kid for self destruction.

I would be surprised if someone supporting Donald trump did NOT know many young white males who have been arrested for marijuana. It is a fairly common occurrence. It happens slightly more often than a young black male being arrested for marijuana.

I went up to a young Asian lady at Starbucks on Mon who was back of me in line. They screwed up my latte so I told her to just go ahead of me because I had to wait. I asked her what country she was from. She said Korea. I had panicked at first because I thought that was a micro-aggression. But she was so cool about it! I thought about asking her out. But I decided against it because I couldn't explain it to my family. On another note, Thug, have you seen my white robe and hood. I lost it at the dry cleaners.

You left it @Doc Holliday-JB 's house.

At least she wasn't Cambodian, that would be treasonous.
