Yesterday, SCOTUS rejected pleas by Trump and his allies to expedite their appeals to invalidate the November election. The court rejected requests to expedite more than 6 cases seeking to overturn the election results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The unsigned orders by the court mean that it could address the appeals in late January at the earliest. But, the court has no obligation to address the appeals at all. According to the WSJ, few legal observers expect that SCOTUS will ever review these appeals.
Trump’s judicial strategy to overturn the election results is over. Done. Finished.
