People basking in the euphoria of the changes that have happened in U football have every reason to be excited .The changes are substantial, multilevel and put us on a better footing to win big. But there is plenty that has to be changed and next year will be a transition that at sometimes will get the usual critics crowing about certain failures. Changing offenses and terminology takes adjustment .Breaking in a lot of younger players with elevated roles will take some time. The expectations of a dominating running game will have to be tempered as the pieces will take a couple of years to assemble.
But I fully expect a few low points that will get the usual nattering nabobs of negativity active again. We all know who they are. I expect those times to be lessened than in previous years as the discipline and effort required to be consistent will be mandated by this coaching staff. Its an exciting time to be Canes fans but don't expect us to make an instant turnaround. As Mario said it will be a grind.
