I never blew off 12 dead Marines but I'm realistic enough to know that final departures usually result in casualties. Four Marines were killed on the rooftop of the U.S. Embassy in Saigon during the final evacuation from Vietnam. I'm retired, financially secure and workout daily at the local JCC. Life is Good!
