New York Times story indicated the virus came from Italy in New York and not China so they were too late to shut down Italy—by a month. How much more freaking evidence do you need that the federal government led by Donald J Trump completely blew this about as badly as you ever could and cost us about $10 trillion and how many lives? The FIRST case identified in Washington State was January 21 .. so it was probably IN Washington State a good 2-3 weeks prior? But at the same time Nancy Pelosi was saying NYC was fine .. come on down to China Town for dinner .. and the Mayor of NO was inviting everyone to Mardi Gras. That was the Democratic Parties response to the China travel ban. Saying it wasn't called for .. racist .. unjust. As suspected. The "I shut down all flights from China in late Jan" line is so ridiculous. People travel to China, then to other places, then to the United States. So shutting down China flights as if that was some sort turnkey solution to stop the spread obviously didn't work since we have more than 3 times the amount of cases than any other country in the world.

Here is now it works, if you were recently in China (per your passport stamp) you must self quarantine, so hopping somewhere on your way to the US is also considered, not just direct flight from China.

Non-nationals or non-residents who have been in mainland China in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter. For those allowed entry that have been in mainland China in the past 14 days must arrive at one of the following airports: Atlanta (ATL), Chicago (ORD), Dallas, (DFW), Detroit (DTW), Honolulu (HNL), Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK or EWR), San Francisco (SFO), Seattle (SEA) and Washington (IAD).
Interesting how the failing NYT has updated their original story and headlines with facts vs. Fakenews, adding the word “most” to both their headline and content, knowing their low IQ base would not pick up the subtle change, especially after the MSM talking heads would parrot this on their morning shows.
