T7: Morales singles in a run to make it 9-6, that's as close as we got

STAT OF THE GAME
This was a home game for NCST...they had the crowd big-time. For game stats, go here.

PLAY OF THE GAME
Anytime we pitched to Tommy White...3-4, 3 HRs, 5 RBIs...and he's a true FR...what a talent...

RECORDS
We fall to 39-17, 20-11/ACC although I don't think these count
NCST improves to 35-20, 15-15?ACC

NEXT UP
We play Wake Forest at 3 pm Friday in a game that doesn't matter as far as the ACC is concerned but does matter whether we can eek out a Top 8 seed. Not looking good now as I thought we had to win at least 1 game...

Very disheartening loss...we MUST win Friday, but I wonder where our heads are...will we play with a purpose??

We'll find out our fate Monday, Memorial Day.

I will be at work Friday so I cannot cover...but I will set up a game thread...

Thank to all of U who stopped by. Have a great rest of your week and an even better weekend.

It's great to be...bc football is coming fast and furious...

Go Canes!

-------------------------------------

Hello, Caniacs!

Welcome to the 2022 ACC Baseball Championships! And what a mess it is. I don't think one ranked/favored team has won yet in Charlotte.
Pitt knocked off GT and NCST beat WF yesterday. I take that back, I think higher seed UNC beat Clemson Tuesday night.

The BIG news today is Pitt upset Atlantic Coast Division winner Louisville 6-5, while FSU stomped UVA 13-3 in 7. Pitt is in the semis!!!!!

We enter as the No. 3 seed, 39-16 overall and 20-10/ACC while NCST is No. 10 (I believe) with an overall record of 34-20 and 14-15/ACC,

We can only assume Carson Palmquist starts tonight. I have no clue who will be on the mound for the 'Pack. BTW, I can usually access lineups
etc. before a game...not yet with the ACC holding the reins.

Also, good luck finding a source to watch the game. The Marlins are ion Bally for me and ACCN is carrying FSU's spring game.
