Being old and obese doesn't mean he will die, but it doesn't necessarily mean he will recover like a young person either. There are people who recover from COVID who continue having severe health issues for many months after.
Every person reacts to the virus differently. To say he will get better in a few days or will be on a ventilator for a month is ridiculous.
Actually the science says most healthy people 70-75 get better from this rather quickly. But hey it’s just science.

Whether or not you think he looks good or healthy has nothing to do with whether he is obese. I can say there is zero chance his weight is below 260 so that makes him obese.
His age group average high percentage is about 12 to 13 percent. Given his obesity and other issues (which are being hid) I estimated at the high range.
