Is that Lashlee runs a "power" spread. His variation of the spread or tempo offense heavily relies on a power running game. Those of you that believe he is simply being conservative are fundamentally incorrect. Lashlee is not being conservative in his play calling; but rather, runs a ultra conservative version of the spread. He is a Gus Malzahn disciple from his days at Auburn. He only began incorporating more pass concepts in his offensive philosophy under Sonny Dykes. However, this offense is by no means a "fun and gun" tempo spread. Those of you that expect Lashlee to suddenly change are in for a long season. Those of you that simply heard "spread" and simply assumed this meant we would be airing it out in a more prolific fashion are now feeling bamboozled.
