Most if not all of college football will think I am crazy but I am going to lay the fort on our over/under win total of 7 because I truly believe we crush that and get to 10 plus wins this season. And here is why

1. The quarterback position is probably the best it has been since Ken Dorsey lined up under center. I'm not sure if fans and even analyst realize the importance of not just having a talented quarterback but one that commands respect from the team inside the huddle, locker room, and even after practice. Having a guy like Kayaa that knows the playbook inside out, that can get lineman lined up correctly, can adjust at the line of scrimmage, and can make other players take their game to another level is invaluable. Now not only do we have Kayaa but throw in Rosier on certain situations such as goal line or maybe some 3rd and shorts. This will give Coley a lot of different options and we will be a nightmare for opposing d-coordinators.

2. Our skill position guys have the potential to the best we have had here in a while. Scott, Coley, Waters, Lewis, Berrios, Njoku, Langham, and Dobard. All of these guys have shown flashes of being productive and with Kayaa tossing them the rock no reason why a couple of these kids cant have a shot at 1000 yards receiving. I think Coley has a breakout season but the two guys that really need to produce here are Scott and Waters. Again summing up this position is the number of different sets and options Coley has, its unreal!

3. Most exciting part of this team for me is the ceiling that I believe this defense finally has. A lot of young talent returning up front that I think has the ability to create havoc on the pass rush. Have to find someone to clog up the middle but their are a few candidates such as Wyche, Jenkins, Hertelou, and maybe even Thomas at times. If anyone of these guys can take a big step forward we can unleash our end position which has been recruited very well. The strength of this defense will be the back end where I really like our corners and safeties. Elder is growing in to probably our best all around corner that we have, plus add Howard and Burns that should allow us to really pressure wide receivers. At safety even better with Bush, Jenkins, and Crawford. Bush is obviously the best of the three and crossing my fingers if he stays healthy could end up being a first round draft pick.

4. Some will say our schedule isn't that favorable but I think the schedule sets up perfectly. We get our three most important coastal games at home with Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Virginia (always a thorn in our side) all at home. We also get Clemson and Nebraska coming to Sun Life. Toughest game on the schedule which is nothing new at Florida State and traveling to North Carolina is never easy for us. The game everyone seems to be worried about is Clemson. Everyone forgets they lost almost their entire starting defense from last season so that gives us a huge advantage with Kayaa and being at Sun Life. Add the fact that we are 13-3 I believe in our last 16 home games.
