The ACC is absolutely horrendous as there is no parity and each game can go either way.

Who is to say that Miami cannot win the rest of the games by the narrowest of all margins? So far, Miami lost its first two ACC games by 3 points each. One play here or there and Miami is undefeated in ACC play as horrible as we have played this season.

It will be a shame that an 8-4 Miami plays in the ACCCG, but a 6-2 conference record can do that for you. Fortunately for Miami (IF YOU ARE A PUMPER) all we have left are ACC games. Surprisingly enough Vegas has us favored this next game by a lot, and I would be interested in finding out how Vegas likes our odds the rest of the season since they have been spot on these last few games.

All this to say that if we lose one more game we will be mathematically eliminated from the ACCCG which will result in the end of the road for Diaz.

His biggest mistake so far is not going 1s vs 1s, 2s vs 2s, and 3s vs 3s DURING FALL CAMP. Identify your weaknesses before the season start, and make sure you have your best players on the field early and often regardless of their knowledge if they are deserving because of their contribution every time they are on the field. This garbage that elite players like Rousseau and Taylor do not get a chance to suit up with the 1s during Fall Camp is a diservice to the entire team. Players like Kimchens and Williams should have been identified during the Fall Camp as players worthy of starting before the season began before we found out that Hall should be 3rd team 7 games into the season.

Manny prefers to practice 1s vs 3s and 2s vs Freshmen or Scout from Summer Session to Fall Camp. This type of practice is ideal for teaching and walk throughs which is why our Freshman are playing better and things are finally starting to slow down them. However, some players are straight ballers regardless of what uniform you put on them and these are the ones you want to bring along slowly, but are too good to keep off the field especially when they play better than the current starters who know the playbook frontwards and backwards.
