There's nothing wrong with "talking" to Russia or any other country for that matter. Those are commonly referred to as diplomatic relations. What is wrong is allowing them to interfere with our elections and not do anything, discuss foreign policy issues and lifting of sanctions before they take office, have surveillance ships off of our coast, to buzz our ships in the Black Sea with their fighter jets. Most media outlets are biased in some form but you don't want transparency in the government?
What do you think they talk about the weather? How beautiful Russia is? No they talk about sanctions, business, money etc. and their plans buzzing our ships shouldn't have happened.
