Managers need to get their teams ready, and players need to execute. Neither did their jobs.
Because they haven’t adjusted to this guy throwing strike after strike after strike. They have stuck with the game plan they have used all year. Work the count. Major problem, you can’t work the count when the pitcher is 0-2 damn near every AB. This is garbage. Swing the got damn bat.
How do you know what to swing at when the strike zone changes every pitch.

Maybe but doesn't allow the players to know when to swing or take a pitch. You have to swing at every pitch that isn't wild with this ump.
Strike zone has been the strike zone all night. Most of the pitches Miami watched was down the damn middle. The guy was getting close calls with 2 strikes. You have to adjust and fight those pitches off.. Standing there watching to the tune of 7 looking, damn sure won’t work. Swing the ever loving fckn bat.

The guy was hitting close to the corners all night. The ump was calling them strikes. Even the announcers noticed. But they were close. You have to adjust. Sitting back with your bat on the shoulder isn't the way to go.

This Omaha display is unacceptable. What does this game have to do with what I'm asking? One member is allowed to post redundant posts, every couple of nights.
