It is quite obvious that a number of you folks have not done your homework. The so called new Retirement plan goes back to 2008. This scheme was the brainchild of a female Economics Professor at the new School who stated among other things, Mutual funds were reigning excess fees from their clients. This remark was for the most part is stupid. There are good funds and there are ethically challenged funds.There are no load funds and there load funds. Generally speaking, no loads fees are minimal. Whereas load funds charge a significant fee on your investments. The Professor's proposal was ridiculed by Conservatives. And who was the President in 2008? And now some "nut case" are stating this is a new proposal. In short, don't confuse me with the facts.
And for those you call the President a "Communist: you better read up a Communist is. I grew up at a time when we had a real Communism scare. As a youngster we believed there was a "Commie" in every closet. In Grade School we were issued metal Dog Tags, just in case the inevitable came to fruition. We had drills to prepare for a "Commie" invasion. We had to hide under our desks in case we were bombed. Thinking back, this was stupid. We also had the McCarthy onslaught. Many innocent lives were ruined by Senator McCarthy. At the time the McCarthy vs Army Hearings was presented live on TV. And of course McCarthy was provened to be nothing more than a "demogogue" An it was the time of the infamous Congressional Un American Activity Committee. There main function was to hunt hunt down every Commie. Many charges were made. And for the most part they came up with nothing. You should thank G-d you do not live in those times. Where our Liberties were in jeopardy. We are fortunate to live in the greatest Nation on this Earth and some of you typify what is wrong with America. And if you belive Congress cares about you! There are a lot of cultural ingrained misconceptions and if you have lived all over the country you will know what I am talking about. I live in the south which is conservative and was raised in the north which is very very liberal.

THe fact of the matter is there are times each of these principles are best. You can't be stuck in one way to do things or you really come across as misinformed. It becomes evident you only get your information from people that agree with you.

Therefore, you will never get other points of view.

Only (4) states are operating in the black. So, I don't buy this whole let the states decide everything for themselves either. EVerything is intertwined like it or not. In fact, now in this day in age it is a global economy.

If you look at the big picture you would understand the percentage of people that want things from the government really isn't any differnt than the people who try to circumvent the government. Each hurts because the government has bills. However the diffrence is at least the people who are poor put the money back into the economy where business's benifit. That isn't the case with people that aren't poor. THe circumvent tax loopholes and don't put that money into their pocket and save or invest it.

There is a huge difference between making sure things are run properly and actually taking over. This isn't a socialist society and it never will be. Anyone that understands the concept will know exactly what I am talking about.

This countrys infrastructure could NEVER be socialist. IT just doesn't stand to intelligent reason. Our president isn't interested in the headache of running banks and car companies....lol. The fact that people think by helping them it a power play is little amusing because it is done to help those very same people. Help them with jobs and their business's.

There is a big picture. It isn't just about us individually. You gotta look at things as a whole.
