He now faces more than a dozen high-profile lawsuits and investigations. A recent Washington Post analysis put the total number at 29 pending cases. He's garnered a legion of election deniers who will only accept the results if they win. He's supposedly campaigning for other candidates telling adoring crowds how great he is and that the election was rigged. The lemmings lap it up despite more than 50 lawsuits being dismissed for lack of merit. He needs to be indicted and prosecuted. Enough is enough. We're either a land of laws or a lawless land!

Miami practiced for third time this week Saturday morning, kicking off the second half of the spring.

None of the quarterbacks were spectacular. The offense was solid and consistent. They looked pretty comfortable. TVD threw an interception to Kam Kinchens but it was a spectacular tipped ball that fell on Kinchens chest after a collision from two defenders on a receiver. There weren't many turnovers at all. Jacurri Brown threw a 40-yard touchdown to Ray Ray on a busted coverage. Emory Williams connected on a long score as well when the backups were in.

The running backs looked better. Don Chaney looked back to his old physical self and had some nice runs, breaking one for a long score. He was the best running back of the day. Restrepo is still the most dependable player in the offense. He caught every pass that went his way and consistently got open. Jacolby George had a few catches. Overall, it was a good day for the offense in a physical practice.

The defensive line was getting solid pressure on the quarterback and there were times they stopped play when the quarterbacks would have likely been in trouble. Chris Graves Jr. had a nice PBU on a go route on a vertical throw down the sideline. The receiver actually had a step on him and he showed good recovery speed and made a nice play on the ball.

Important visit to Ohio State this weekend but looks like a Miami/A&M battle:

Texas 2025 QB Roy Thomas Jenkins will be visiting Miami next week and it is something to monitor because of the history between him and new offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson.

Jenkins has seen his recruitment really start to lift off as of late and now sits at nine early offers which includes Power Five schools like Pittsburgh and Texas A&M. The first offer back when he was just a freshman, though? Shannon Dawson at Houston. The sophomore signal caller was on campus twice, spending significant time with Dawson and was there as recently as the end of January. Jenkins was an Adidas Freshman All-American and has 3500 yards and 38 touchdowns in two years as a varsity starter. He plays at Beaumont West Brook, which is in one of the toughest districts in the country. North Shore (top 10 team nationally), Atascocita (top 70 team nationally), Summer Creek (top 50 team in Texas) and King (top 50 team in Texas) make up the majority of his schedule - proving him battle tested early on.

When asked about the relationship with coach Dawson, Jenkins said "He gave me my first offer going into my freshman year when he was at Houston. He started my recruiting process. He is an awesome guy to talk to and I really enjoy his personality."

The transition of Stephen Field to an off-field role and analyst Cody Woodiel to TEs was talked about by Cristobal today.

Mario said they felt this move helped in two different ways. It gave Field more of a high level “executive” role in recruiting and inside the program while moving one of the young stars of college football coaching onto the field.

Miami has lost multiple analysts to other programs in the past couple years, most recently being Terry Jefferson to Jacksonville State. This keeps Woodiel on the program and exemplifies the talents of Field in a better way.

Field is now able to focus on recruiting, combining with Dennis Smith to run that side of the program. Mario mentioned his efforts on the West Coast when the two were at Oregon. Field has proven his worth at Louisville, Oregon with Cristobal and now Miami where he has been vital in bringing in top tight ends. He also has strong relationships in Miami as a former high school coach.
