Opting Out Of Bowls

Befote anyone talks aboutrhe money aspect, I get it it. But, from a competitive sandpoint something has to be done. Teams not coming with their difference makers changes the game drastically.

The only time something will be done is when Bama, Clemson or OSU has players opting out in key positions.

I don’t usually start threads...

But anyone who can’t see that this program is in need of a nuclear reboot from top to bottom to ever be able to truly compete for championships again is straight delusional...

You pumpers, bring on the excuses, or at least realistic options to get us back to being legit again instead of a pretender that is good for at least 2-3 embarrassing losses a season...

How can anyone defend this trash?

I’m gonna say to all you DOOMERS.......Pffffft

Guys , we WERENT blown out like you donkeys predicted, despite HORRIFIC officiating

Yeah first quarter pretty embarrassing
HOWEVER, this staff AND team NEVER quit like some of you know it all donkeys
Canes out played OSU
Don’t EVEN think of defending the referee’s
We were robBed , with a second string QB
Canes DONT quit for Manny
Come on emac, and others, tell me I’m wrong
Actually I dont give a shit,
I know what I saw!!!!
Props to the staff for adjusting after screwing the pooch in the first quarter!
Canes are improving!
Sorry doomers
Pffffft

Gary why do think so highly of Feeley?

He’s actually the FIRST ONE I would fire.

Look at our Oline. Look at Pope and Wiggins. These guys look like they’re in elementary school.

It’s so bad that my wife who doesn’t really watch football all that much except Canes games noticed the difference in size not only vs Clemson but also NC. Pretty bad. Lol

Then you have our Oline getting zero push and always looking like they are on skates getting pushed back.

@gferman Please remind me what is so special about our strength and conditioning coach ???? Why do our guys look like they are freshman all the time ?

Manny’s big decision

Do you want to be a HC or a DC?

Read a great article on this point. He’s been promoted and has a job to do, focus on that. Hire someone you have enough confidence in to do your previous job, so that you can focus on your new responsibilities. If you feel you regularly need to meddle or provide oversight, you haven’t hired the right person to replace you, and that detracts from what you should be focused on.

Manny’s not an idiot. He’s shrewd. He knows time is limited, after next year it will be too late. I think it happens this off season. If Banda leaves that just gives him the impetus to make the move.

Perry

So I have been down on Perry big time in the past, but based on last night and his comments and attitude, this kid has shown why we should allow kids the opportunity to turn it around. He deserves a chance to play, but I feel it is obvious he wants to be at Miami. We need more of this in the locker room.

I'm not buying into

That Coach Diaz won't make major changes to his Staff. If you look at last year, he got rid of Enos and upgraded to Lashlee, and we all saw how much the Offense improved. It doesn't take a genius to see that major changes need to happen on the Defensive side of the ball. The question will be does he really want to win big at Miami, or is he going to settle for the status quo. He made changes last year, he can do it again this year.

Rob Likens = the WORST position coach

we have.....

Im not even asking for our WRs to make circus
catches that every team in the country seems to make week in and week out...... Can we just
get someome in here that can coach our guys up to simply make ROUTINE CATCHES when the ball hits us in the F'n hands.....

Send this loser back out west or wherever
the hell he crawled out from

Damn it......our WRs are the worst in the country

Pope caused us the game!!!!

The receivers as a whole didn’t do much of anything but Pope was the worst of them all. He should’ve made that catch but he couldn’t like usual. I mean how can you know you have a problem in one area and don’t work on getting better? This is not on the coaches but on him. This generation spend too much time looking pretty and not enough time putting in work.
